Answers to some questions you may have.

Q:
What is trussbolts.com, and why is this a thing?
A:
Trussbolts.com was established after we found it can be difficult to buy some quality 5/8-11 Grade 8 hardware at a reasonable price so we bought a large quantity of hardware and built this shop.

Where do your products come from?
A:
Our products are made in the USA, Taiwan, and China

Q:
Where do you ship from?
A:
We ship from Rancho Cucamonga in Southern California.

Q:
Can I specify Made In USA product?
A:
We currently are unable to guarantee COO on a particular item, however we are working on an all USA offering.

Q:
How do I know your products are of good quality and we can trust them?
A:
Our products are only purchased from manufacturers and master distributors with a physical presence in the USA and proper internal controls. All products are tracked by vendor and lot number on the master cartons we receive them in. We do not source anything overseas directly.

Q:
Why is your website so terrible?
A:
This is more of a public service than anything else. We do not exactly expect to get rich doing this, there is no budget to spend on a good website. This site is basic, but it works. We only sell one thing after all……

Q:
Where do you ship to?
A:
We currently ship to all 50 states in the USA.

Q:
Why don’t you offer free shipping? And why is the shipping expensive?
A:
Unlike some other retailers, we do not bury the cost of free shipping within the product price. We wanted to be transparent on shipping cost, we use Shipstation for discounted UPS rates and pass those on to the customer with no markup. Bolts are heavy so they cost a couple bucks to ship. The more bolts you buy the lower the shipping cost per bolt is.

Do you offer will call?
A:
We don’t really have the staff for that, however if you are local to us and are flexible about when you can pick up we can figure something out. Send us a message through the contact form.

Q:
How fast can you get my order out?
A:
We typically ship most orders within 24 hours on business days. (Order Fri. Sat. Or Sun and it will go out on Monday)

Q:
Is my information secure?
A:
We need to work on a privacy policy and terms page, but yes your information is as secure as pretty much anywhere else. We use Stripe to process payments and we never see or have access to your payment info. The website uses SSL and we rely on our hosting company Bluehost and our Shipping company Shipstation to keep their servers and the data they contain secure.

Q:
Do you sell bolts to manufacturers of large aircraft?
A:
Noooooooo. You see, our customers use bolts to securely hold things together.
